The Corso Umberto of today, which was once called Strada del Borgo, is found in the U Bburie area. This area has recently been made into a pedestrian zone and is where some of the most famous noblemen’s houses of the historic bourgeoisie of Cisternino are to be found. Worthy of note is the neoclassical façade of Palazzo Cenci and the front of the Palazzo Termetrio-Lagravinese. At the two ends of the street you can see the Church of San Cataldo which goes back to the second half of the 1700’s and the New Church or the Church of the Sacrament which was built in the second half of the 1800’s.
