It is almost certainly the oldest church in Locorotondo. It has a three nave structure with a semi-barrel vault. Its interior is richly ornamented with flowers, little animals, shells and the capitols in classical style are decorated with various figures, little angels, sirens, bodies of birds with human faces. The church preserves a precious work of renaissance sculpture called Madonna delle Rose, with the images on the left of Santa Lucia, San Pietro, the Madonna with child, San Paolo and sant’Oronzo. In the façade, the rose-window is a recent work by the master craftsman from Locorotondo Domenico Rosato. It is the copy of a rose-window of the cathedral of Acquaviva delle Fonti.
